Hi everyone! My name is Sofia Castro Panesso, and I'm a Fashion Marketing and Management Senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

 

I was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, a wonderful city in the Caribbean full of color and culture. Since I was very young I was inspired by my surroundings and began creating art, this creative expression then developed into a love for fashion and that has been my focus ever since.

Having done summer courses at Parsons, online classes with Business of Fashion, and now working on my B.F.A. at the SCAD, I've embraced a consistent and well-rounded education in fashion as a career. Currently I'm expanding my work experience by helping address marketing needs for SCAD in their recruitment of the Latin American market.
